In response to student feedback, weekend studio access has been extended:
- You are now able to access the studios in the PACE Building from 9-6pm every weekend during term time. Studios must be booked via the WRB system
- In a change to previous practice, you can go directly to the PACE Building (your cards have been updated to give you direct access). Building monitors will be working in the building and Security will be monitoring activity
In addition to weekend access, you can now book the studios in PACE until midnight, Monday – Friday during term time:
- Bookings up to 9pm must be made via the WRB as usual
- Bookings after 9pm currently need to be made through a separate system to the WRB. Details on how to access this system are at the end of this message
Studios in the Campus Centre are available until 9pm Monday – Friday (term time) and must be booked via the WRB system.
Please ensure that:
- You take particular care when leaving the building late at night
- You consider your morning commitments following late night bookings to ensure that you are fully rested ahead of timetabled sessions
Instructions on Booking PACE studios after 9pm
- Visit https://pacedmu.skedda.com/booking. You will see all four bookable PACE studios (0000 till 2100 will be greyed out)
- Click on the hours you wish to book. You will be able to see if the space is already full
- Click the green BOOK button at the top of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your email address to register (You will only need to do this once)
- Please register with your DMU email address so we can identify you. Any bookings made with external email addresses will be removed
- Confirm your booking. You will receive an email once the booking has been made

Please turn up in good time for your bookings, and leave the studios the way you would wish to find them. If you realise you cannot attend your booked session, please return to the WRB or to Skedda (if your booking is after 9pm) to cancel it, enabling another student to use the space.
Studios can only be booked by students on approved programmes (in Dance, Drama, Performing Arts, and Music Technology) for rehearsals relating to your studies.
