Notification of Opening Hours: Summer 2017
During the Summer months the AV Loans service will be undertaking some major changes and unfortunately this will affect opening times.
Summer 2017 opening hours:
Open: 10am-12pm & 2pm-4pm, Wednesday 31st May – Friday 7th July
Closed: Monday 10th July – Friday 4th August
Deadline for equipment reservations is 9th June and collection is week commencing 19th June
Open: 10am-12pm & 2pm-4pm, Monday 7th August – Friday 15th September
(Now located in Portland 00.27)
From June to August the AV Loans service will be:
· Introducing new AV Loans self-service portal
· Moving of the AV Loans counter and all the equipment from to Portland Basement P00.27
· Undertaking our yearly audit and associated stock check on the full stock of equipment
· Purchasing new and replacement equipment
To ensure this work is carried out and the service improvements are ready for the start of the new academic year AV will be temporarily suspended for the 4 week period from Monday 10th July to Friday 4th August.
As this is usually a quieter part of the year inconvenience will be minimal. However any equipment required to support exam resits that fall during this period can be reserved and collected well before the events.
We are asking any equipment required for the period 19th June – 7th August be reserved through the current reservation process by Friday 9th June 2017.
Reserved equipment will be ready for collection week commencing Monday 19th June 2017. Equipment will need to be returned week by Monday 7th August 2017.
AV Loans will continue to keep small numbers of items to support events and teaching across DMU during the summer. Anyone in need of equipment for events during that time will need to contacting us via the ITMS Service Desk who will pass you request on to the Team.
